Treasure in the Towers- What Universities Offer Social Entrepreneurs

Southern California is blessed to have many “Ivory Towers” that are very committed to linking their students with current social and environmental challenges.  Join us Monday July 21st from 6 to 8 pm to hear from representatives of three universities that provide degrees, research and student assistance to those building social enterprises.

  • Andy Atkeson, UCLA Professor of Economics, Co-Founder, UCLA Social Enterprise Academy
  • Abby Fifer Mandell, Executive Director, USC Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab
  • Steve Kirnon, Program Director, Pepperdine School of Education & Psychology Social Entrepreneurship & Change Program

The panel, which will be moderated by Betsy Densmore, Academies for Social Entrepreneurship, will also report on trends around the country and counsel us on how to find the resources we need at local campuses.

PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE SO WE HAVE ENOUGH FOOD/DRINKS!!       We look forwarding to seeing you in Room 201, Pepperdine LAX campus, 6100 Center Dr. Los Angeles, CA 90045. Cheap parking in the Howard Hughes Center across the street.
