Innovative Social Enterprises providing Food Solutions in LA

Join SEA for a look at two organizations bringing food to the LA communities that need it most

Should where you live determine whether you have access to healthy food? Join us Thursday, March 30th for an engaging evening with social enterprise innovators Everytable and LURN at Everytable's first location.

Hear from the team at Everytable as to what inspired them to launch this innovative social enterprise aiming to solve the issue of food deserts in LA and how they have been able to scale multiple locations since their launch last year. Everytable has been featured in the New York Times, FastCompany, and National Geographic for their approach to bring healthy food at fast food prices to communities in need in LA.  Each location sells the same healthy and delicious options, however, pricing varies based on neighborhood.
LURN's Executive Director, Rudy Espinoza, will share how LURN has been able to influence change around street vendor legalization and other key issues that help support sustainable communities. LURNis dedicated to fighting poverty, building sustainable economies & resilient communities.  LURN's work was most recently featured on KCRW and the LA Times.
In addition to a site visit and presentation, you will have the opportunity to enjoy food from Everytable and network with like-minded social entrepreneurs.

Members attend free of charge. Non-members - $10.
